About Us

Sree Sivayogi Sidhanantha Alias Sree Nochur Swamiji established the Agasthya Ashramam in the year 1948 at Nochur. Swamijis father was an ardent lover of Tamil language and he wanted his son (ie Sree Nochur swamiji) to master tamil language more than anything else. Therefore their family shifted to Salem with the help of a friend, apart from the education there was a divine plan also, which brought the family to Salem.
